As Invenergy approached its 20th anniversary, the company had evolved from a startup to a leader in the clean energy space. With a growing global demand for clean energy, they needed to refresh their brand and digital experience to accurately reflect their position as an industry leader and effectively conveyed their forward thinking vision.

We worked with Dimension Energy to re-position the brand to be more confident, authentic and purposeful. This translated into an industrial and bold visual language. The logo takes inspiration from the energy grid, with the radiating line work around the D monogram. In the upper left hand corner of the logo, there is a notched rectangular shape that serves as a flexible container and graphic that anchors the brand system.

We worked closely with the Dimension team and their production partner to create a new direction for their photography. We wanted to create a differentiated look for them to stand out from the sea of sameness in the clean energy category. We traveled with their teams to New York City, California and Virginia to capture still and video footage of solar fields and technicians in the field. We shot at the golden hour to capture warmth in the lighting and create more inviting and cinematic shots.

Another aspect of the brand refresh was re-designing and re-platforming their website. The fundamental goal was to shift from an aspirational narrative to a tangible one, reflecting its proven capabilities and broadening horizons.

Dimension Energy was opening up a new office in Midtown Manhattan and asked us to help consult on paint colors and signage. We created vinyl wall icons and partnered with a sign fabricator to create a custom stainless steel logo.
